  • describe the political situation in the USA during the 60s
  • give argument for the connection between the foreign policy of the US Government in the 60s and the political situation in the country at the time
  • define the term and analyze the reasons for the birth of specific countercultures and give argument for its connection to the political situation
  • list and compare the characteristics of specific countercultures
  • describe the influence of music on the society
  • describe the connection between the state of society and the development of film and literature
  • define the main characteristics of the 60s American literature
  • describe the development of art and list its main characteristics

This courseware was created as part of the Hypermedia seminar class at the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka. The authors are fourth-year students of English language and literature and Computer science: Mirela Majnarić, Irena Meštrović, Igor Rendić and Matea Tomljanović.
